| as far as the redhawk i would say very unlikely. that frame is not made to take the pressure of the .454 casull. for the super redhawk, the .454 can chamber the .45colt round with no problem. they still make the redhawk in .45colt but i don't think they ever made the srh solely in that caliber. you might be able to send in a srh and have a .454 cylinder timed for it but you would have to call ruger about that. |

Yes, it is quite common. It is generally a 5 shot conversion however some folks are simply installing a SRH cylinder in the RH. This second option is problematic as you need the cyl from a SRH and after you canabolize the SRH for the cyl, |
