So there are three, the New Vaquero, the flattop/old one, and the current Black Hawk/Super Black Hawk? And the current BH/SBH is what can take the Ruger only loads?
Ruger has a couple bisley flattops under their Vaquero tab on their website, but if I understand it currently, these are based on the old intermediate frames and not the new Vaquero's frame. How warm can these be loaded? They only have it in .44 special, so I'd be inclined to say not much, but guys on the single-action forum are loading it up to both Skeeter and Keith levels. Is it possible they only chambered it for the specials so people wouldn't run full house 30k Ruger only loads? |
