I've had this up for a while. If you're interested in the Ruger LCR, I really can't say anything bad about the handgun. If you can deal with only having 5 rounds on hand then it's a great carry choice. If you're not a shooter then the recoil might be a little more than what you'll care for.
That's about the basics of my review.

Nice review. I wonder if they changed the composition of the grip. I got mine the second or maybe third year they were on the market and the grip is very "sticky" if your shirt rides up it will not come back down on its own, and creates noticeable drag when clearing the shirt out of the way on the draw. I've found mine to be very accurate with some handloads, and acceptable with every factory load I've tried. +Ps are unpleasant, everything else is tolerable, my wife carried it for a while and practiced a lot, 30-50rnds a session was about her limit, good enough. Want something similar to a crossbreed, may I suggest Foxx? With the LCR its almost possible to forget its there.

I gave the Foxx a look. Very nice. It looks a lot like the Crossbreed but less expensive. I think that I found something for my daughter to order me for Father's Day now.
I usually just do pocket carry with the LCR. I have a Crossbreed for a Kahr CW9 and love the holster.
I haven't tried +P's with the LCR. I'm not really that sure that you get anything out of it with a sub 2" barrel.
I wouldn't call the grip smooth or hard, like some of the Pachmayr products. I've seen tackier grips on the market and think that the LCR's grips fall into the middle category for tackiness. I've never tried OWB carry with this gun so I suspect I'd have the same issues that you do about shirts draping over the grip if I carried outside of the waistband.

Not particularly but it does seem like you're trying to generate traffic to your site.

I just picked one up a couple weeks ago. Put about 400 rounds through it. I did 90 grain, 110 grain 125 grain, and 158 grain. everything from target to "carry"ammo. No issues at all. The recoil was not bad at all and it was very pleasant to shoot. I put the shield in the safe and carry the lcr 38 now.

I got one last week but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.  Been carrying it an a Desantis Apache ankle holster as well as pocket carry in certain shorts I have.   I think this is going to be my new office / grocery store carry piece.   I'll reserve the G27 for when it's a bit more practical to carry.
