[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ruger P91DC

A friend of mine is in a bind and wants to sell his unfired Ruger P91DC. He's not a gun guy and his present girlfriend doesn't want it in the house. He wants $200 (in the original box with two magazines and paperwork) and I'll probably buy it to help him out, but I don't know anything about this particular gun.

Looking for feedback on this gun.

That is a very good deal, I wpuld jump on it. They sell for $300 and up on the Auction sites, usually without the extras in your deal. That is a very reliable and strong pistol.

That's a rare bird there––-they only made them for a few years and a decocker would be the most desireable in my mind.

Good find––-and I don't even like the .40 cal.

P944 mags will fit it too.

Thanks. I picked up the gun over the weekend. Looks to be in excellent condition, a little dirty from when he occasionally kept in in his desk or truck. Cleaned up nicely and appears unfired. Magazine springs seem a little weak––there were eleven rounds in each mag, probably been there for years. I picked up two boxes of ammo at Dick's and I'll probably go to the gun range with it next weekend.
