I was thinking of getting a P95 but can't decide between the stainless or blued slide model. I like the looks of the blued,but for $30 difference I wouldn't have to worry about the blued finish wearing or rust as much. Has their been any reports of one version having more problems than the other ?

There are regularly numerous listings for blued P95s w/ rail for $289 delivered to your dealer from the same business (don't recall the name offhand.) I also saw a like new blue P95 w/ rail and two mags go for $210 plus $15 shipping within the last two days. There seems to be a lot of them listed on GB and for some extremely good prices to boot. Just wanted to pass along the info in case you still weren't sure where you were going to get your pistol from. Sorry I can't help with you question. Scott |

| I ended up getting a stainless one for 3 bills out the door. I took it out for the first time this morning and I love this pistol, 250 rds without a hiccup. At 25 yds I was getting 3" groups at the bench, and at 15 yds with a small B-27 I could put them all in the pumpkin. That's good enough for me for a pistol in this price range. Now if I could only get 9mm for $7 a box again and a set of 20 year old eyes.....LOL |

I can't speak directly about the P95s but can say that my wife's P93DAO, essentially a P95 with metal frame, is the most gun for the money ($310) that I/we own. It's very accurate and has never malfunctioned. I believe if you check out the threads on the P95 at the Ruger Forums you'll find that many sing its praises.

I had a P-95.....great pistol..thousands of rounds through it, and maybe 2-3 malfunctions [probably mag or ammo related] I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. |
