I just picked up a Ruger P95 for $200. It came with the neutered 10 rd mags but was in the box and looks like it's had less than a box of shells fired through it. I've never owned a P95 before but have had two P89s (which I liked but traded off). I still have some of the P89 15 rd mags and they fit well in the P95. It's been a while since I've dealt with Ruger semiautos and it may be a week or so before I shoot it. Is the P95 as good, better, or worse than the P89s? Thanks! |

FWIW, my P95 has had roughly 5,000 + rounds through it without a hiccup. It is more reliable than my P89 is. I like the P95 for a boat gun and range plinker, but not much else because it is too clunky (thick with sharp edges here and there) and bulky. But for $200, you got yourself a reliable 9mm anyway! For the money, they are good guns. |
