I have a polymer-frame Ruger .22 pistol.  It's a great, accurate gun, and the trigger is acceptable except for the last round fired from each magazine.  When the bolt locks back, the trigger slaps my trigger finger so hard it's painful.

This has really taken the fun out of shooting the pistol, because I hate to count rounds and after 3-4 slaps I'd rather go back to shooting my Glock.

Is there an easy way to fix this?

Yup, I should have specified.  I probably have only a couple hundred rounds through it, but it's unpleasant to shoot (sniffle).

shoot 200 rounds of singles thru her and wear a couple bandaides to soften the slap.
