The SAR 2000ST is an exceptionable value.
Forged steel frame, forged steel slide, hammer forged steel barrel.
Not a single machine mark anywhere, inside or out.
Internal parts are actually smoother and better finished then a CZ.

I did a review...............

I'm eyeing one of these pretty hard right now at a good price. I'm assuming regular CZ mags work? For grips I'm seeing limited options but looks like those for a Tanfo small frame will work. Anyone know better?

I can't get a good answer if CZ mags will fit.
Some say no, some say yes, and at least one says that if you remove the CZ plastic floorplate and install a flat steel plate they work.

The SAR 2000 is actually an almost exact copy of the small frame Tanfoglio as sold by EAA.
Earlier copies had the original long CZ type mainspring as sold by FIE, Excam, Springfield P9, etc.  EAA Tanfoglio models changed to the short mainspring.
This is even better because it did away with the CZ flat steel spring cover in the frame.
I suspect that virtually all Tanfoglio/EAA parts will interchange with the SAR because Tanfoglio helped the Turks design and build the 2000.

Tanfoglio mags work perfectly.
I suspect that Mec-Gar mags made for the Tanfoglio/EAA will fit and feed, and cost less then the ridiculously overpriced Sarsilmaz SAR mags.

Grips made for the Tanfoglio fit the 2000.  There are a number of options.........

Hogue...rubber and fancy woods........

Thanks, bud. Great right up too btw. I did see some mags on Greg Cote that are supposed to work as well.
