Think Colt LW SS DEFENDER.  I have both the Champion and the Defender. I'm dumping the Champion, any questions? Seriously, the defender is 10x as reliable as the champion and I did not need to dink with it and replace crappy parts. BTW, want to buy a really nice GI Champion? It finally works now, mostly.

Great! I just bought a used SA Champion in like-new condition. Just picked it up from the transfer dealer this morning but I haven't had a chance to shoot it. I hope it's reliable. It won't replace my primary CCW however, a Glock 23. |
If it whacks you in the face with brass,replace the ejector, mine came with a shorty[normal]and they should have the extended ones. Hope yours does not have a glued in ejector and has a pin instead. |
