| is it the only 1911 to have a rail extending all the way to the end of the barrel? I think it looks really sharp w/the rail/frame extended full length of barrel. I don't know if i want .45 caliber though, does the Operator some in 38s? |

I believe that the SA Operator pistols only come in .45acp and they stopped making the full rail version a couple of years ago. STI makes pistols with full rails, but I am not sure if it comes in calibers other than .45acp. My Kimber Pro TLE/RL has a full rail, but it has a 4" barrel:
