I found a Springfield Armory Stainless Loaded 5" model at a local pawn shop for $600 plus tax.  It has the original box with two mags.  I would grade it at about 85-90% with a few scratches on the finish mostly on the slide.  What would be a good price on something like this?

That is a very good price. But I would still try to get another $60 off or failing that, 3 boxes of 230 gr FMJ ammo. Do you know how to perform a safety function check on a 1911?

Yes, the gun checked out fine...thanks.

I was going to see if they would do $575 or even $600 out the door because they already came off the price $100 without me even asking them to.

If you can swing that, $600 OTD for a stainless Loaded is a very good deal.

Op that is a good price.  Maybe the scratches can be buffed out.
