My neighbor came over asking if I knew anyone that would buy his pistol.  He has the BRD and wants to sell it to start building him an AR.  It is a SS one with the ports on top.  We looked and looked and looked but couldn't really find another one for sale to get a gauge on what its worth.  He said its hardly been shot.  I've heard people have a love/hate relationship with this gun due to the ports.  I looked it over and there are some scuffs on the slide but all in all it looks to be in good shape.  I'd buy it myself if I wasn't so poor.  Any ideas on what he should ask for this.

Full size Govt model? If so, I'd say $400-425 retail, $300-325 on a trade to a dealer. Be prepared for it to be a slow seller, IMO.

Didn't think  they made the V-10 in anything other than the UC model?

Yes, my mistake. I skipped over the "V-10" part & got brain fixed on the V-12/16 models instead.

They are loud as hell, even with ears on. I'd list the gun at $550.00.

It doesn't say ultra compact on the side and it looks alot like the one that went for $680 but I believe his was a tad longer.  Not full size but not compact either.  I have pics on camera and will post them after awhile.

I would sell it at around 600 I sold mine quickly at 550. Yours looks just a bit more used than mine did but still around 600.
