I was wondering if anyone has used the SERPA Quick Disconnects yet?  I have 6 SERPA holsters and have ordered and should receive them soon but was wondering if anyone has tried them.

Thanks in advance,
Foley

Would you tell me what the Serpa Quick Disconnect is? I don't believe I know which one that is. Thanks

been looking at them as well. would be an easy way to go from belt to vest.

I should be getting mine in on Wed.

What they are is a Connector that you attach a female connector to your paddle, belt, vest, dropleg, or any other platform, and a male connector to your holster, and it gives you the ability to swap weapons and holsters to different platforms in seconds.

Instead of having to unscrew my holster from my regular Paddle platform to stick it to my drop-leg, all i have to do is push a couple tabs, turn it, and attach to the new platform doing the reverse.

This should be interesting.

Linky to LA Police Gear, where I purchased from.

I've been looking at these too.  Would be nice to move things around quickly between holster styles or when changing weapons systems:

Received these today,  It puts the holster approximately 3/8th to 1/2 inch further away from the body (using paddle, not that bad on me im "big"  )

This definately looks like it is going to be a good system, lets me switch platforms and even weapons in under a minute without removing the platform

thanks for the update. i was wondering how much it would add. is the lockup tight any wobble?

No wobble at all, it is extremely tight on the 2 connects that I received.  The fun part is figuring out how you want to position the Female mount on the platform.  You have many options.

I will try and get pics up tonight.

Can they be mounted somewhere inside a vehicle?  That would be nice to have it at easy access when driving then you can snap it back into your serpa when you park.

thats a damn interesting idea. i'd imaging it wouldn't be hard to drill on of the mounts to fit.

Yes, you could mount one of the female adapter's in your car, under a desk, or any where that you could screw it into.
