At what point does an SF frame get shorter than a standard frame? At point 1, 2, or is the whole grip shorter front to back? I want the shortest grip possible on my 30/36 and currently I have a standard 30 frame. I want to see if I will or will not need a 30SF frame because a grip reduction will not go all the way up the grip to line 1. So if an SF frame is shorter at line 1 than a standard frame then I'll have to start looking for a 30SF frame before I send it out for a grip reduction.

If I'm not being clear please let me know.

i THINK they are shorter at line 1 because they take a special ejector housing which sits in that area.....

Thew whole thing has been slimmed.  Up top is is about 1.3 mm shorter and uses a shorter trigger housing as noted above.  From below you can see how the "hole" in the backstrap is significantly smaller due to the reduction in size also.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Anyone got a 30 SF frame to sell?
