I just bought a used SIG 226 in 9mm, and I noticed 2 things. Someone has moved the Mag Eject Button from the left side to the right side. Step by step, how do I move it back? I also noticed the Trigger Bar Spring protrudes into the Mag Well. I can still insert a mag and it ejects just fine, it just should not do this. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

| For the mag button if you look very closely at the button just as it enters the frame you'll see a part of a plunger. Generally it's nearly flush with the body of the button but its there. Take a small punch, tiny screwdriver, etc and depress it fairly deep into the mag button body. You'll need to very slightly depress the mag button to do this. Once the plunger is fully depressed release the mag button and the button will extend out from the frame and fully expose the plunger. Now swap around however suits you. |

make sure you put the mag catch retaining pin back in the same way it came out or it wont retain the mag you'l have to drill it out or send it back to the factory to fix it as it gets stuck
just replace the trigger bar spring and just hook into the hole on the frame, don't put it in to far (thats what she said) as some people do and it won't go inside the mag well if its hooked properly |
