I've noticed on the two SIGs I've shot, both 226s DAO one in 40 one in 9, that the trigger has an extremely long reset. My question is, on a DA/SA version is the reset in SA as long as the reset in DA? Or does the SA reset sooner?

Im cycling my 226R right now. Never shot a DAO, but I am going to say reset on SA is about a quarter inch.

Pull the trigger from with the hammer down in DAO the let the trigger out, compare that to how far you have to let out the trigger in SA. Is it shorter to reset?

It is ATLEAST twice as far. Probably a little longer.
