have the chance to get one..full size version with stainless slide. Was just wondering what the general opinion of them was..
have any major issues with durability or reliability come up ?

Typical Ruger, IMO. Built tough, not so good trigger & average accuracy. Low resale value as well.

The SR9c has a much much better trigger.

when they first came out, one of the shooting rags did a break in test on one. iirc, it was like 20k rounds thru one. the shooters were using gloves since the gun was so hot. look for the article.

They are great guns. I did not find the trigger that bad but have heard the SR9c has a great trigger. Good price point and reliable.
