Just got the SRT Kit installed... MAN!... It does WONDERS to that reset! I got one put in my 226 and my 229. I feel no difference in the feeling of the trigger, ie no grinding or anything. Feels the same as before just an AWESOME reset! Highly recomend getting it done.

The SRT should be standard in all DA/SA guns IMO.

Does it change the DA pull feel/length/etc, or does it only change the SA?

+1 to that. With the price of a sig I don't see why not.

It changes nothing except the trigger reset distance. All pull weight, lenght of pull, etc. is exactly the same. Although some have claimed that the trigger felt a bit gritty. I however feel no such difference.

I just recently installed the SRT kit in my 226 as well.  The trigger feels great.  I feel no difference in DA and the SA feels slightly better than before.  I feel none of the grittiness and increased DA pull weight that some have warned about.  Of course the reset is much better too.

I also dropped a srt into my 226 and if anything it seems to feel a bit better/solid on the lock up of the hammer when manually cocking it. Reset feels great and yes this should be the standard trigger.

I just got a 226 Tac Ops and am starting to notice that the reset is inconsistent.  Sometimes it's real short, and other times it's a little longer out to the reset point.

I'm wondering if this is indicative of bigger problems to come.

If that is the case either it's not built right, OR the metal parts are changing shape each time you pull the trigger. If that is indeed happening and it's not a "percieved" issue, then I'd wager that the former is the case.
