Commander length slide and Officers height frame

Can the Officer's frame be bobtailed? The bobtail conversion is based on the Officer's mainspring and housing in a Gov't frame. |
Not sure we're thinking about the same thing...I think that any model can be bobtailed and the MSH is an Ed Brown part, not an Officer's MSH. -Jbot |
The Ed Brown part essentially uses an Officer length Mainspring in their bobtail MSH. It's pretty neat, but needs to be installed on a full size (Government or Commander) frame. That is one sweet looking pistol. I like the little touches such as the short trigger and the countersink about the rear side of the slide lock pin. Front slide serrations don't do anything for me though. |

pistolwretch , what's the price tag on that bad boy? I am looking for a CCW 1911. I will be in the market for a commander slide and Officers frame 1911 in the next month or three. I am looking at the Les Baer stinger on the lower end, and the Ed Brown executive carry and Kobra carry on the higher end. |
