I have a SW99 .40S&W. To make a long story short, I went a bought an extra mag from fourfourmag.com so I can hava little extra carrying capacity. But the thing is the 2 factory mags work as designed SA and DAO and the mag I got from fourfourmag.com makes my pistol work a little differently heONCE and it will either send out a three round burst or completely empty the mag just like a Glock 18. Anyone have any reasoning on this?

You sure this is a mag issue?

What kind of ammo were you using?

shhh.  You'll let the secret out.

Look closely at the mag and compair it to a factory mag,  Then field strip the sw99, insert factory mag and look closely then repeat with that mag.

I have a p99 and a stainless promag from fourfourmag.  And yes my p99 has checked out at the smiths.
