During the summer I got one SW99 mag for my P99. It worked great and I put it into carry use.
I finally was able to get two more and I took them out to the range today and the slide never locked back on the last shot. I pulled out the one I already had tested and that one didn’t work as well. It is about 25 degrees out here, is it the cold? Or just bad mags |

I have 2 new and 10 used 9mm SW99 mags all white followers.They all worked good but one, it didn't hold the slide open.
It had a plastic burr on the bottom edge of the slide stop tit on the follower. It would bind up right where the body starts to taper by the cut out for the tit. I cleaned it with a razor blade and scotch brite, oiled and reassembled, works fine now. |
