Have you seen this thing that fits behind the trigger and supposedly reduces chances of an AD?

Carrying the glock chambered always did make me nervous.

Worth the money or crap?

it's a good idea in conmcept and only a decnt idea in reality.  I do have one but I only use it when the holster I am wearing doesn't have a well protected trigger area, such as the Thunderwear.  If I am using a quality holster that covers the trigger guard then I have no need to use the saf t bloc.

Alot of people have concerns about carrying a Glock loaded but trust me they are unfounded.  The Glock is an extremely safe pistol to carry loade, as long as your finger stays off the trigger guard that gun is not going to fire.  Just because the Glock does not have an external safety doesn't mean they aren't safe.  Glocks have 3 internal safeties to stop accidental discharges.  All it takes is some time carring loaded and you will see the worry was all for nothing.  I was in the same boat when I first got my Glock but I realized how safe it is and got over it.

As for the saf t block it has it's places where it can be useful but they are very limited.  You need to do what you feel is best for you but you will eventually understand the Glock is safe to carry loaded, it's you who is the safety and that is better than any external safety or safety block

good luck

The safe-t block is a P.C.d solution for something that is looking a question to begin with. Drills and training is the way to go.

Keep the "BOOGER HOOK" off the trigger until ready to shoot.

Personally I think that little 'widget" that fits behind the trigger is a waste of money.

I as well have found that not pulling the trigger is the best way to not fire the weapon.

The biggest problem I can see if you were to actually use this device has to do with muscle memory.  You simply cannot have multiple carry/safety/handling/whatever options and expect to be safe and proficient.  Why stuff a quality handgun into a crappy holster with no trigger guard?

About the only thing I can think of using this for is as a trigger lock for the Glock.  But then again, why lock up a quality handgun with a plastic gizmo?

I used a saf t bolk when I was using a clip draw.  (holsterless carry)  I lost mine at the carwash.

I praticed muscle memory alot with mine and did ok with it.  I switched from the clip draw to a IWB holster and don't use the saf t blok now.

I don't know why you'd ever use a saf t blok in a holster...........
