Can anyone find the info/stats on a CS40???  I found one today at the shop and for a dang good price, so i couldn't turn it down.  It was on consignment so it didn't have a book.  Thanks...

Very good reputation carry gun that did not caught on as much as the CS9 or CS45.

Almost the perfect package for carry purposes so enjoy the gun.

My father liked the CS Series, so I got him a CS40.  He loves it.  I saw the CS Series when they were nothing but welded up prototypes and was asked my opinion on them.  I told them I liked it, except for the grips.  They stood there with their mouths open after I said that, since they got those grips and designed the frame around them because they liked them so much.

Personally, I don't like rubber grips on my carry guns.  They bunch up your shirt every time you bend over, and sometimes drag during a draw.  I do believe that Hogue makes wooden grips for them.  IMO, the perfect grips for it would be standard plastic S&W grips, but that's not going to happen.

If it's comfortable for you, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.  My father's shot the snot out of his and never had a malfunction of any kind.  It carries well in the G&G belt holster I got him for it, too.
