JG Sales had some used.

I bought my Model 10 heavy barrel in the early 80s and I wouldn't part with it.

Retiring cops! I got mine for $50.00 and all it had was some holster wear.

besides an old model colt detective special(giant wooden stock and un shrouded barrel ,would be a snuby model 10 .these are your clasic snubs.i have a shrouded barreled colt DT that i treasure but id rather have an old one.

I found a great deal on a Colt Agent some time back, but haven't gotten a Detective Model yet...

I have a 4" HB Model 13 and my 13 yr old daughter has claimed it for her own. Good thing I picked up a 2" Model 66 yesterday. Used to be you could get M-10s and M13s by the bucket in Shotgun News due to Police Departments going to autos, now...... I have been looking for a shorter barrel M-13 for years to carry and finally found this M-66 from a Cop friend moving to PRK (Peoples Republic of Kalifornia). All I can say is be patient and network. When you find one of the old S&W revolvers at a good price it is worth it. Now if I can just get my Dad to part with his Detective Special...... he
