I'll be getting one through a trade in the coming months in .357, how much are they worth? I'll be trading an AMD-65 that I built for it...

ETA: it is a performance center model 27A

No idea about a 27A, never heard of it. Should be a Model 27, 27-1, 27-2, and so on.

Will also need more info to determine value. Need full model number, barrel length, finish, and a serial number would help.

If you're getting a Model 27 S&W you are getting one of the finest handguns ever made IMO.
It was the flagship of S&W for a long time - their best made revolver, the pride of their company.
Take good care of it. I have one I've had since 1978 and it has had thousands and thousands of rounds fired through it. It's never given me a bit of trouble.
Keep it cleaned, lubed, and shoot the hell out of it.
You're gonna love it!

I've fired it before, he says its been to S&W's performance shop. The trigger is the smoothest I've ever felt in my life!!!!
