I need some info on a Revolver that i received from my grandfather passing away. It appears to be a S&W Model 925 in .38 caliber. Also just above the trigger is has H&R Inc. Worc. Mass USA. The Revolver is a top break and holds 5 rds. Barrel appears to be 2 1/2 inches long. Not really sure on the gun, just wanted some information about it. Don't know if this makes a difference or not, but the first two letters of the Serial number are "AJ". Thanks for any information.

Harrington and Richardson Model 925 in 38 S&W caliber.  The short 38 round, not the 38 special.  Fairly common top break design in its day.  Out of production as are all H&R revolvers.  Value around $150 I would guess.

H&R made a lot of revolvers back in the day.  Medium quality, basic designs.  Most of them were not shot a lot.  Stored in dresser drawers and such.
