A friend of mine purchased a S&W SW40VE pistol (40S&W Sigma-type). Unfortunately, the 10lb+ trigger pull is a nightmare. Does anyone know of a replacement spring/disconnector to bring that down to 4 or 5 lbs? Thanks, in advance.

The best way to fix a Sigma trigger is to sell the gun.

Check Wolff Springs web site for replacement springs.

well I just went to the range today with a .40 S&W Sigma that I've shot
very little since I bought it a few years ago because of the horrible trigger

I just had a gunsmith put a Wolff striker spring in it to hopefully
make it more manageable

it's better, but still damn crappy!!  long, heavy at the "break point"
and unpredictable when exactly it will release & fire off a round

how could anyone (S&W) screw up such a simple (Glock's) design

unfortunately I think BobCole's suggestion may be correct, gonna have to try & sell the POS
at least I only paid $290 for it

If you get $200 for it I'd be shocked.
