I have been watching for a couple years, so I have seen the same S&W rebate programs come around:  2 mag or $50, 2 mag and $50, just a $50 rebate... Does anyone know or remember when these rebates usually are in effect?  I bought my M&P 40 during the 2 mag and $50, and bought my M&P 15OR during the $50 rebate.  I am going to buy a M&P 40c here in the next couple months, and I want to get the most bang for my buck.  Any help?  Even if just a link to an older thread?

Thanks in advance.

There was a thread here recently. It was a link to S&W's site. It said there are no rebate's at this time. But I guess that could change in a couple of month's. I'd continue to keep an eye on their site.

What suck's is I'm picking up a 40 fs today, and my son just got a 40 c last week, and we didn't get nothin.

Yeah, I know there are none currently.  I was hoping someone had kept track and be able to tell me about when the next rebate was going to begin.

Given that sales of the M & P appear pretty strong I wouldn't expect a rebate deal anytime soon.  Smith just inked several large PD orders.

I agree! I'm assuming the rebates were to get as many M&P's out there as possible. If you noticed the order the rebates they went in...mags AND money then mags OR money...then i think it was just money with no mags being offered. I'm thinking the rebates did their job and S&W no longer needs to offer incentives...just my 2 cents.

Yes, it was a sales concept.  Since this was a new product, the more guns got out there, the more people would talk on the internet, ect. the more sales would go up.

Since Obama's election, sales in the gun industry is not really that much of an issue.  The M&P series is firmly established.  I'd be shocked to see another rebate show up.  I do hope I'm wrong though....

M&Ps are difficult for gun shops to get their hands on these days,  they're moving out the door like all crazy and they have been very well received inboth  the civilian and LE market.

I don't expect to see the rebates return anytime soon.

Sent off for my "rebate" of 2 mags in February.  Still aren't here.  Hasn't been a feel good experience with S&W customer service.

Still waiting, "sigh".

That's odd... I'm pretty sure I sent mine off the end of February, first of March and had my two mags in a month.
