Im reading a novel that makes several references to army soldiers/CID agents carrying in these holsters. I tried to google it, but nothing. Anyone heard of a Secret Service High Rise Cross Draw holster?

Nope.  Sounds like a standard shoulder holster.  Most of the SS agents I worked with hip carried.

Secret Service=Accountants w/badges and guns.

178 views and one reply? Useless.

Annoyed because no one has commented on a fictional holster? LOL.

I'm guessing no one is responding because no one's heard of it...

Authors don't always get details like this correct.

I'm going with the first poster. I'm guessing some kind of low riding cross draw shoulder rig... which sounds incredibly inefficient...

Two holsters are currently issued to USSS Agents, one made by DeSantis who has a long interesting history with the USSS and one made by Kramer

Who said anything about believing it? I certainly didnt. Why do you believe everything you read in books?

I was asking if anyone heard of it. If no one has heard of it, how easy is it to simply say so? 178 people viewed it, now 300, and one person at the time had said something? A couple more verifications that it didnt exist could have been nice.

It appears provoking people on a forum was successful, lol. Got the answer I needed.

If the agent had two of them he could shoot akimbo.

I have 8-12 customers that are USSS........not a single one is an accountant or does anything remotely related to accounting.

Issued gear for them right now. The holster, not the pistol.
