I just traded for a 357 stainless steel security six 2 3/4 inch 90%+ with original grips in the ruger box. I love this revolver but was just wondering its approximate value. Serial 153-xxxxx it doesn't have the dummy warning on it (read manual blah blah). Thanks.

The stainless snubs bring a premium. I personally wouldn't let it go for under $500.

LGS has a stainless 2.75" Security-Six, slightly more used (I'd say 80-85%) for $439. No box or anything. It's a later one.

I have seen $500-600 on Gunbroker lately. I have two of the stainless Ruger Six-Series revolvers, one Speed and one Security.
