I have downgraded my P320s from any serious use where I'd want to leave them loaded, such as home defense or as a CCW. I have plenty of other guns that can fill that need, so it's not a big deal. But I still love shooting my P320s at the range. I have no plans to get rid of them or stop shooting them. I'll just be extra careful and limit the ways I use them. And I'm not going to hand one to someone else to shoot. It's not like they are going to fire out of battery, or blow up or anything. Only chamber a round on a hot range and just keep them pointed in a safe direction whenever there is a round chambered. Worst case, it pops an unintended round off into the dirt. One of mine has a manual thumb safety. I'm seriously considering installing a thumb safety in the other two. Personally, I think the current P320 AD problems all point to a light trigger and no safety. It's like a large number of people carrying 1911s with no thumb safety or grip safety - there would almost certainly be a lot of ADs in that case. |

| I've purchased more because I don't buy all the P320 BS. It's a fantastic gun that shoots very well. I don't know what flavor I like yet because I really do appreciate them all but I still need an X-Ten, an X-Five, a 3.6" compact slide and another FLUX. I think by then I'll be able to make a better decision lol! |

I bought a full size P320 in 2015 and carried it just about every day (with 1 in the pipe) for about 5 years. These days it sits in a holster in my safe and not because I don't trust it. it sits there because I have other pistols I'd rather carry. Something that I noticed when all the UD controversy started is that my P320 doesn't have any slop between the frame and the slide like so many of the guns that youtubers are playing with. It also doesn't have any MIM parts. I don't know if that makes a difference but, I suspect it does. Ron Cohen has a track record of using cheap MIM parts to boost production/profit. I don't have anything against MIM parts in general. I have a problem with MIM parts that have bad QC. Ron Cohen is the master of taking a good company and killing it with bad QC. |

I've been shooting mine more & more lately and even bought a complete slide with optic mounted for a great price direct from Sig. They even threw in a tshirt. Attached File |

I have 3 P320s. Due to many places banning them I bought 2 Ruger RXMs, added lights and RDS and have been using them for the time being. I do have 1 320 "staged" for HD but the other 2 are just stored. 2 of them have lots of rounds thru them with no issues, the other doesn't have but a few hundred rounds thru it but also no issues. All 3 are older versions and have never been sent in for the voluntary upgrade to make them drop safe. |

| I carry my M17 when I hike, and took it out hunting with me a week or so back. Bit big for daily carry, and the P365 is better for that. The P320-M18 still has its assigned role as a car gun, and my Raider still hangs out by my bed as a HD gun. Somehow none of them have "just gone off" in the years of ownership and shooting. Shocking ain't it? |
because they are so cheap used right now I now own 5 P320's, x-compact, x-carry, x-full, x5 legion, Spectre Comp Blackout... My EDC is the X-carry. others fear stokes the get rid of it cheap mentality... OK by me. locally I have seen plain p320 compacts and full size pistols selling for $300 and the X-models like i bought for between $400 and $450. I won't even tell ya what I have into the Spectre comp

| Just shoot the thing, there is nothing wrong with it. There is only 2 ways that a 320 can fire on its own and even then it still needs to be handled to do it. If you don't lock the slide back when you re assemble it, if you mix up FCG's from another caliber 320. For those of you that will disagree how about you show us the evidence of it being re created with the actual 320's that have claims against SIG. You WONT find any because the issue is 100% USER Error. You really need to understand how it all works before you guys buy into those claims. |

I guess it is better safe than sorry especially considering as a citizen, you’re not afforded the same level of protection as if you’re from an agency should your firearm go off. But I feel like a lot of it is made up. Especially those YouTube videos where someone “discovers” how to set it off by first shoving nails into it and doing some crazy insane thing which essentially is a “trigger pull” as it was designed to do. Also I feel a lot of the “technical” videos tend to be people just using fancy words without any sort of meaning. So I would take it with a grain of salt. |

| I don't buy into the thing going off on it's own speculation but for me the best part of the gun is also what makes me nervous about it, the trigger/trigger pull. I like the short pull on the range but not on my carry gun. Even with the safety, I personally don't feel good about carrying it for that reason but that's just me. |

| I have four of them that I haven’t shot in a bit not because I don’t trust them, but mostly because I train more on a different trigger system. When I shoot my 320s a lot I get really proficient with them. When I shoot either DA/SA or a Glock trigger system I tend to either over prep or slap the crap out of the trigger. I do not have that issue with my P365s which have about a pound more of trigger pressure and a slightly more discernible wall. Two have AXG frames and one is an X5 Legion. I don’t plan to sell them but also don’t have plans to carry them either as I have plenty of other choices to fill that role. |
