I'm looking to do the 40 to 9 conversion but I can't find a place to purchase a new 9 barrel.
I haven't called S&W yet but googled the crap out of it and only came up with a barrel on armslist. Your help is appreciated fellas |

This is good to know. I would like an OEM 9mm barrel to simply change calibers while out shooting. Getting mags for the 9mm isn't a problem. |

I sure wish Storm would make the 357 Sig conversion barrel. I have been on the list for over a year. When I called Smith they pretty much told me that they would not be releasing a Shield in .357 Sig, nor making barrels.
I love the round, want a Shield chambered for it, but no way in hell would I shoot one from a "converted" 9MM barrel. |
