| You have hit the nail on the head. The dovetails are the same as the rest of the M&P lineup. Most front sights are good to go as is. The problem is most rear sights will extend beyond the dovetail. Ameriglo is working on new rear sights for the Shield at present and I'm sure some other manufacturers are also. I am told Trijicon has sights for the M&P that will fit the Shield but haven't verified that as yet. |

I have them on my VTAC but was unsure if I could install a set on my Shield. I'll have to get a set ordered soon for my pistol. Thanks! |
