I mostly shoot Glock, but Ive been thinking about the HP for a little while.

Saw one today at a dealer just over the state lines. It was a Belegian made HP, with minor wear, the inside looked a little dirty, but nothing major.

The dealer said he got it from a customer and he looked up the serial and it was an 80's gun and one of the last one built and assembled in Belgium.

Hes asking $500, what you guys think? Decent price? I think so.

If you don't buy it shoot me an IM with the dealers number.  Depending on condition that is a good deal, not great, but assuming all is right a good deal.

Thanks guys, thats what I thought.

I might have to sell or trade in something but I do want to get it.

The arogonomics are pretty nice, and I have seen the thread here about the 2,000 round reliability test.

How do you guys think it rates as a "combat pistol".

Tough call without pics, but if it is in decent condition, that would be a good deal....
