| I have a decision to make that would be super easy for some but not for me. I have a kimber tactical custom II that i've had for about a year and it's been reliable and shoots really nice but it gets rust spots every so often and i'm getting tired of it. I stopped by a local shop and they had a colt xse in black with some nice double diamond grips that i fell in love with and i'm tempted to see if i can work out a trade. Pretty sure i can, but i'm worried that the colt won't be reliable and i'll be trading a reliable gun for one that isn't. Thoughts? |
| If you haven't bonded with the Kimber by now and love the Colt I'd make the change. I have a Kimber thats reliable and accurate but if I came across a Series 70 in good condition or a SA Loaded it would traded in a heartbeat. Ask the owner if he'll stand behind it if the Colt doesn't work out as far as reliability. |

The colt may not have all the bells and whistles that the kimber had, but i can upgrade it as i go. As long as it's reliable and doesn't rust when it comes within 10 feet of moisture i'll be happy. |
