I had heard of the "phone call" but never had one..
I dropped off the warranty card for my P220 2 step a few days ago and just got a call from Sig Customer Service asking if I was happy with my purchase and if I had any questions. Extremely happy and no questions from me on the 2 step.. but while I have you on the phone.... I did get the opportunity to ask about the internal extractor rumor. He did confirm that they have suspended manufacture of them, but went on to say that they had a metric ass load of them in stock and if one of my early guns breaks an extractor just to call and they would send a new one out. I forgot to ask when they would be putting out threaded barrels for the 2 step program.. maybe I will just call them back when I get a few minutes. I have heard a lot of rumors about poor CS.. I have yet to experience it... maybe I am just lucky but hopefully Sig is turning their CS reputation around for those that have had problems. |
