have the oppurtunity to pic up a P220 in .45 at a decnt price.
However it is an older heel style mag release gun. Will these models accept the newer button release mags or not? |

You might call Sig with the S/N and see what they can tell you. FWIW, all the "Assembled by RPS" marked P220's I have seen were originally made in .38 Super Auto and converted by RPS to 9MM when they were imported to the states. Do the frame, slide and barrel have matching S/N's?
