| I saw one today at my local gun shop FDE with Scorpion grip and it looked nasty. Alot of my buddies have them and love them but dont have the 9mm, they all have a 40 or 45. Has anyone had any problems with this model, any feedback would be great. I have looked at reviews online and they were great and when I held the gun and pulled the trigger at the shop it felt great too. Felt alot better than the M&P and Glock's that I held |

.45 p229?!?! No such thing, or do you mean your friends have other Sigs (p220 etc) in .45
No experience with 9mm p229, but I have a 1994 p229 in .40 that I love. Sigs are great and I think you would be very happy with it. I have a new p226 in 9mm that I also love, great pistols. |

You have one of the new American made frames and slides. You have the long ejector which is held in place by the vertical roll pin.
Be careful when knocking out roll pins and you can reuse them. Roll pin punch works best for this, but isn't necessary. The fun part about the frame being American made is that you can buy a caliber conversion kit for it if you want to shoot 40 or 357 Sig out of the gun. A caliber conversion barrel will not work from 9mm to larger calibers. |

don't have too many of those
