Does anyone have any experience with these guns? Pros/Cons? Do they accept standard compact sized 1911 magazines? Do they require specialized holsters or would a standard 1911 holster work? CSP |

I don't have the compact, but I have a GSR. Standard 1911 magazines work fine. Standard 1911 holsters do NOT work fine. I've heard that the Sig 229 holsters work with the compacts but have not tried it myself. I had some minor trouble with my GSR, and I learned that the Sigarms warranty department isn't in the business of taking care of the customer....as such, I won't recommend any Sig products...especially with a gun as quirky as the GSR series has been |
Colt Officer's (or equivalent) mags will work fine in the C3. It's basically an aluminum Officer's frame and a Commander slide. Holsters may or may not work, depending on the holster. Anything moulded for the Commander will probably not accept the SiG and its blocker slide. |
