I'm looking into getting a Sig, but don't know the model #s. What I want is a 9mm that uses high cap mags. Full size or compact has not be decided. Will a compact accept a full size high cap? What models fit this description? Thanks for the help |

In SiG's 9mm line, the 226, 228 and 229 can use hicap mags. This might be reasonable or not depending on how much you want to spend. The 226 mags are relatively in expensive but they still don't make sense unless you have a very good reason for neding them. Frankly, hicaps are far more fad then substance IMHO. Except for the HiPowers, you can usually buy two or three 10 round mags for the price of one hicap. You gain little and spend lots. |
