I have had this gun since new and I have always had an issue with accuracy.  At 10-20 feet its fine but trying to figure out why at 25 yards I am hitting about 20" low!!! any idea's?  do I contact H&K and replace the front post or just get a set of adjustable night sights for it? any thoughts??

It's not a sight issue, it's a shooter issues.  The POA/POI is behind the dot, not "Pumpkin on a Post" or 6 o'clock.

Seriously, 99 times out of 100 it is shooter error - no offense meant at all. If you're aiming correctly, and you're not anticipating recoil or anything (try shooting supported or resting on a bench), then there might be an actual issue. I would suggest having a friend load a mag for you that has spent brass or snap caps randomly inserted, so you can see whether or not the problem is with you or your gun. Also, like the previous poster said, it's not pumpkin on a post, you cover the bullseye with the white dot on the front sight.

Right, that’s why I am asking what’s next.  I have had another person load the mag and add empty shells to look for flinching... I have shot from a bench and I have had another person shoot it free hand and from a bench with the same result.  When this first came up I first went back to the beginning and read the manual and realized I "was" shooting pumpkin on a post and now shoot with the front sight covering the target which with is shooting low has made it worse.
