I have a CZ75 (not B model) made in 1986, it was parkerized without the nasty baked enamel finish. I have shot it so much the finish has worn badly, so I have decided to get it refinished. At the same time I have decided to replace the combat sights it has on it. I have decided on tritium. Does anyone make some for the CZ75? rear is dovetailed in, front is staked. Finish I am going for is dark grey Parkerizing (mostly what it had to begin with) then Duracoated with the same colour and texture on top for longer wear. Stripping it down is easy enough, but I have been unable thus far to find tritium sights for it with a front staked one. I am not willing to have a dovetail cut in the front of the slide (Edited because I am guessing I will have to at least entertain the option of having the front dovetailed) Edited for spelling |

I got my sights from Ghost Holster Decent prices and quick turnaround times. |

FB41, thank you for the post but I want Tritium and I don't see it there, From all the searches i have been doing over the last few weeks it is looking like I will have to buy the CZ75 model tritum sights and have a front dovetail cut on my slide for the front sight. It should not be that expensive for a dovetail tobe cut so long as the smith knows how to make them equal level. nothign like putting $400 into a $300 pistol |

Meprolight lists CZ sights, but I don't know what model. You might want to give them a call before you cut your slide. Another option might be to buy a new style slide with night sights already installed. |

I have seen a lot of guys try to stake the old Trijicon sight onto a 1911 and fail miserably. You might contact Trijicon and see if they offer the same service for the CZ they do for the Beretta 92...they can drill the standard front sight and epoxy in a tritium tube. This would, of course, require you to use a standard height rear, but I have come to like using only a tritium front blade for many of my handguns, and it is less expensive. www.trijicon.com/home.cfm |

FB41, the new type slide has the B modifications, i cannot stand those modifications so that is nto an option for me. Ikor, I will contact them regarding a stake post front sight, if they do not have them (I was not goign to stake it myself, My smith is more than competent enough to do such a job) I will have a dovetail cut intot he slide, but it must be the same plane for the original dovetail (assuming the old dovetail and new are the same) |
