I was just wondering if the standard kadet conversion kit will fit on a P01? The CZ site says it's just for the 75/85 models. I have seen pics with the unit on top of a P01 (the mag juts out from the well about a half inch) but can't remember where. If you have tried this combo how reliable and accurate is it? I know there was a thread about this a few months back but I am not a team member. Thanks. |

My Kadet kit fit on my P01 with no fitting necessary. Just slid on (tight) and was ready to rock! Magazines do jut out a bit at the bottom... but if you can get your hands on some 10rd factory compact mags, you can swap out the plastic baseplates and create your own "compact" Kadet mags that fit flush. I've done this with three of my five Kadet mags. It has reliably fed everything I've given it. Currently, it's getting a steady diet of Federal ValuPak, but in the past, I've used various Aguila (including subsonics) and Remington subsonics, and it's cycled fine! The subsonics didn't lock the slide back after last round. I've found it to be accurate. I'm a terrible shot, so I can't be used as a true gauge... ... but I find it to be no less accurate than any other 22 pistol I've shot (Rugers, etc).I consider it a 'mandatory' addition to any CZ, including the P01. Given the cost of centerfire, these days. I'd post pictures... but can't access Photobucket from work. |

Awesome! Thanks guys! Just what I wanted to hear. I shot a P01 at the local rental range and it was one of the best weapons I have ever handled. The decocker is perfect for my short thumbs to manipulate. I'm going to order mine from Angus at Ghost Holsters with a trigger job and have him fit a kadet to it. Thanks again guys!! |
