Does anyone know if the are any other American companies other than Colt, Ruger and Freedom that make single action armies or other similar "western era" guns?
I don't buy foreign "American old west" style guns (yes, I know some foreign guns are ok but I prefer American, it's just me) and I was curious if there are any manufacturers I'm not aware of. I have a Ruger New Vaquero (great guns) and hope to make a Colt my next. |

Just my two cents. |

There are plenty of others buying the foreign guns, I prefer American. I don't have anything against the Italian copies and others but it's not my thing. My lever actions are Winchester and Henry and I wouldn't buy foreign with those either. I do wish more American companies would create old west era guns, we shouldn't have to depend on Italy to do it for us. Besides my Beretta 92A1 supports them |

Not according to their website. They have several different configurations of their little .22 mini gun thingies and a couple mini semi-auto's but nothing full size or close to a SAA. my reading a comprehension was lacking a bit; you want a full size saa type; besides the rest that have been mentioned the only other "American" made saa I can think of is heritage arms; I don't think they're entirely American made though; iirc some parts are made offshore and then final fit/finish is done here in America. |
