So last week I traded my CZ P07 for another G19, I wanted to keep mags all the same so as much as I like the P07, decided to make the trade.  Anyway, I was home looking everything over, when i noticed, it only had one pin!  At this point i became pretty excited, as my favorite Glocks are pre 2008 production Gen 3 G19s, and after a little research, i found this was built in 2001.

I have never seen a single pin on a Gen3 in person, thought this was pretty neat.

I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen, but I have no idea how to post these things now and I don't have a good one on my phone yet, but once I get that all done I will post some pics of her!

I own a single pin G19 as well. It has always been flawless! Enjoy!

The 9mm Glocks really only need the 2 pin frame and the early Gen3 models had 2 pin frames.  Since the 40SW and 357Sig are a little rougher they added the second pin and made the 9mm Glocks the same so parts interchangeability would stay the same across the board.  While not rare they are uncommon to find now and will function just as good as a 3 pin.

Here is a generation 3 G19C.....2-pin frame. YES, they are out there, but NOT real common.

This G19C is in virtually new condition; part of my G19 collection.

Add: the reason Glock went to 3-pin frames was due to the .40 caliber.

I was pretty surprised at how good of condition it was in, since it's 16 years old.  No ware in the slide at all and minimal ware on the barrel.

I knew they had switched over to the 3 pin awhile ago, so once I saw it I knew it had to be older, plus the original 10 round mags it came with.

From my experience, the gen 3 (2-pin frames) are NOT easy to find.

I've never come across one except the one I got. And out of "many"
G19's I have, it's the only one like this. My gen 2's are 2-pin of course.

I've NOT come across any more gen 3's (2-pin frame) for sale or I
would snatch it. This has been the only one I've found.

I have two 2 pin G19, one is a G19c. Both were purcased in the late 90s. This is when Glocks were pre MIM parts and had real Tenifer finishes.
