No, I have some brass that I need to sort, and I was hoping it was just one brand or so.  I'll have to check each case individually, I guess

Speer makes this also. This has to be the stupidest invention know to man.

Not to folks that reload both 9mm and .45ACP.

Besides Winchester's NT (Non-Toxic) line, do they have any other small primer .45ACP? I don't think their WWB and Ranger type ammo have the small primer.

I've picked up several hundred from the Law Enforcement range at our shooting club, rather than fight i have decided to keep em, now having enough to reload.  I got this Federal stuff at Wally World the other day, no "NT" or identifying markings at all on box or brass, except it was a little cheaper, the small primers were a complete surprise.  In my Dillon 550 I just take out the large pistol primer and put in the small and load them right up.  The reloads shoot real well with Win SP primers.

Federal and CCI (Blazer Brass) are the ones I always run into.

Are you sure about Tula? All the Tula I've seen has been larger primer.

I don't like it at all, but I have to admit that the few boxes of Fed 45 I have shot have all gone bang.  Now... if they make premium JHPs with small primers, I will not go for that.

So far I have only seen SPP with Federal.  I myself don't like them as the small primers seem to take a little more pressure to seat.  Plus there have been a couple of small primer brass mixed in with my thousand pieces.  Luckily I noticed the difference in pressure when trying to push a large primer into a small primer base. thankfully I was using CCI primers and not Federals as CCI are harder and not as easy to go kaboom.
when sorting the Federals there is a difference in font and there is a mark or dot at each end of the Federal stamp on the small pistol primer brass.
