Llama XA Especial in .32 ACP; I've had this one since the early 1960s and it's been a great little pistol, extremely reliable with ball and hollow point and accurate enough for a self defense pistol.
It's a mini 1911 clone, but it being a blowback design, it has a fixed rather than a linked barrel. I also had one, a model lll-A in .380 and it was good to me as well. 
Llama is gone, along with all the other Spanish gun manufacturers, but you'll be able to locate a used example of a Model lll- A in .380 if you look around if you're interested in this sort of thing. |

It is, however a very small gun, comparable in size to a Kel-Tec P3AT/Ruger LCP: 
The Springfield EMP is a "smaller" 1911 chambered in 9mm: 
As you can see by the overlay, all the parts have been shrunk slightly. Llama III's are not 1911s, although they have a similar appearance and control layout. They also haven't been imported since the 80s and have a sketchy reputation. They are, however, cheap and relatively easy to find, unlike Colt Mustangs. Why, exactly, do you want a 1911 in .380? Have you considered something like a Browning BDA? |
