| The MC operator's are good to go, I would just swap out the MSH and go back to the GI guide rod and plug. Smith and Alexander has some nice one piece MSH, and so does Ed brown, but if ya really wanna step up, Nighthawk has an awesome one piece checkered MSH that i have on one of my 1911's. Maybe down the road you can upgrade the trigger/ignition parts with a nice set up from C&S/EGW/Harrison design. Other than that, you have a very nice pistol and enjoy. |

I'd go back to a GI rod. My only mods have been a VZ grips, a solid Greider trigger, and a Guncrafter MSH with a recessed loop. Great pistol Finally found a Wilson with a lanyard loop used as they have now discontinued them, seriously thinking about the guide rod but I dont have an issue with the 1 piece wilson |

Keep it simple. |

Damn, $800? Nice! Every time I find one it's $1100. Cheapest used one I've seen was $1050 :/ I am a part timer at the store that I found it in so I get a break on anything that comes in (which is a detriment to paychecks LOL) but it would have been in the case for around $900 as a used gun, The $800 figure included tax also. |

Just bought one of these myself. I can't seem to put it down. For the moment, it's my favorite pistol that I own. Congrats on a great gun at a great price. Took it out today and put 150 rounds through it, it is an amazing gun, great to shoot and well worth the money. Extremely happy. Got in the new MSH and installed, now need to replace recoil spring and will be GTG. |

Nice, I am also a part time gunshop goon. I got my MC on the pro-staff progam a few yrs ago and IIRC my price OTD was around $860 NIB. You did very well. |
