I would like to add a SA 1911 to my line-up, the Trophy Match looks to be a good value, are these hand fitted in the custom shop?

TIA

This is my understanding. A quick call to SA will confirm or deny this as well.

I love my Trophy NM!!!!!

I could be wrong, but I think the more "hands on" factory pistols all have a serial number starting with "NM". The TRP's, and Trophy's both have the NM designation.

I called them about the Trophy to ask what the difference was between it and the TRP was and they said it was mostly just the adjustable sights. Seems  a little strange to me because of the price difference, but I am convinced that it is a great pistol for the money. It's on my short list of wants as well!

My SA mil-spec has a "NM" serial number prefix. A SA rep told me it has nothing to do with how the gun is made nor fitted. I believe them.
