Do all the Springfield 1911 models still have the 2 part, soldered barrels ?

The two-piece brazed barrels seem to be limited to the G.I. and Mil-sped models with "ww" and "N" serial number prefixes respextively.  There may be some (or all?) Loaded models, also with "N" serial number prefixes, also so-equipped but don't recall reading any accounts.  I have an "N" Mil-Spec and it has the two-piece barrel, but the three "NM" and one "CRG" that I also have, have single piece barrels.

NO, none of SA barrels are soldered and they have 2 piece barrels on some of the line, but not all of it.

lately people on the errornet have been reporting their Mil-Specs and G.I.'s are coming with stainless one piece barrels and bushings...I haven't seen this myself but it is what I've read in the last couple of months...

I just picked up a recent production NM Milspec and it has a 1-piece stainless barrel.
